Here I am sitting at work, five hours after my shift should have ended, and you bless me with this. Thank you! Lifted Subies are radical.

I especially love how there’s no other obvious mods, sticker bombs, roof basket, Jerry cans, etc.

Just a lift and big tires.

That can be the hardest thing with mods... knowing when to stop.

There’s a special respect due the ones who know when to stop.

All the added weight...plus terrain grabber side steps.

I’m skeptical of overland prep combined with drop steps and not rock sliders.

I don’t like to profile a person’s built but sometimes you can tell the people who are doing this for themselves or doing it for others.  This has all the hallmarks of the later.

Same, though it is difficult not to judge nowa days.

Exactly, whereas the opposite may be true of the Subaru.

Are those steel bumpers really that heavy? Seems like the front is squatting down substantially

Kinja'd!!!2

191 lbs. plus another 50-100 for the winch. plus another 50 for the dual batteries that Im sure are in there. Thats just the front bumper. it snowballs fast.

This breaks it down nicely.

Yes, quite heavy. Most add at least 700lb springs to the front to accommodate for the extra weight.

That’s probably, what...800 lbs (if not more)  added to the 4Runner. It’s not overpowered or fast to begin with, so I can’t imagine how it feels.
